Travelling in a fried-out Kombi, On a hippie trail, head full of zombie

What a long trip down under, we left icy Vancouver, landed in Seattle, and then Los Angeles. A fourteen-hour flight later, we were in tropical Brisbane for 30 hours. It was a bit of a shock to the system going from a dry -2 to 32 and humid. Brisbane has some great river walking trails; there's a new pedestrian bridge that wasn't here on my last trip down under in 2019. After a morning walk over to Kangaroo Point, it was back to the airport for a trip over the Nullarbor to Perth, the most isolated major city in the world.
