Istanbul Archeological Museum, the Bosporus and cats

Istanbul might be the best city on Earth. The longer you spend here the more you like it. The transit is phenomenal, the food is great, the people are friendly, there are as many cats as people, and their new airport is among the world's best, did you know that Turkish Airlines flies to the most destinations of any airline?
We went to the Istanbul Archeological Museum which has a collection of artifacts from the Mediterranean and Middle East from the times of antiquity through the Roman times. Findings from cities like Troy, Ephesus, Babylon, Rhodes, and Leptis Magna.
Today we took the Marmaray subway under the Bosphorus to the Asian side of Istanbul. With 6 to 7 million living on the Asian side, it's larger than most European cities. The Asian side is more residential but has some interesting markets.
The range of prices is quite high. Some restaurants cost us $50 to eat, while others cost under $10. Tonight we paid $6.50 for dinner. Two donairs, and drinks. You can order a piece of Baklava for dessert for 50 cents. The ones to avoid are the ones with English printed on the menu, these are often the most expensive.
Oh, they also have Turkish coffee.
